 JOB SUMMARY:

A Post University Admissions Representative (in our Accelerated Degree Program) is responsible for responding to student inquiries regarding admission to the University’s online and evening & weekend programs in a timely and customer-focused manner.  You will need excellent communication, listening, customer service and sales skills to excel in this high volume, customer-driven position. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred; however an equivalent combination of education, experience or training can be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in a higher education admissions and/or recruiting position with a consultative sales approach to successfully promote our program is desired.
  • Prior call center, customer service, marketing, and/or sales experience a plus.
  • Ability to display superior relationship building and communication skills including an excellent phone presence and personality.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet applications and database software are a must.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task.

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Full-Time Position

Post University is currently accepting applications for the role of Assistant Athletic Trainer.

JOB SUMMARY:
Post University is a NCAA Division II institution and a member of the CACC Conference. This role is a full-time position and requires a Certified Athletic Trainer to join an expanding staff. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will provide athletic health care services including but not limited to, assisting the other Athletic Trainers in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for 16 Varsity Sports and junior varsity programs. The new athletic trainer will work specifically with the Sprint Collegiate Football program which will begin its inaugural season this fall. Team coverage will expand once the Sprint Football season ends.

Daily tasks will include preparation and coverage of practices and home games as well as the monitoring of football weight requirements in accordance with CSFL rules. Manage the daily activities of the training room.

Assist in the varsity teams’ strength and conditioning programs. Help keep updated medical records and assist in PPE’s. Coordinate medical referrals including scheduling of doctor appointments. Assist in preparing and processing of insurance claims.
Adherence to all department policies and guidelines are required at all times.

Requirements:

The successful candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, NATABOC certification, be eligible or already licensed in Connecticut as an athletic trainer and maintain a current CPR/AED certification. Football experience is strongly recommended as the candidate will serve as the Sprint Football Athletic Trainer during the entire football season.

Instructional Designer

Full-Time Position

JOB SUMMARY:
The Instructional Designer (ID) provides proactive course development training and support to faculty. The primary duty of the ID is to work with faculty in the development of online courses. Other duties include supporting the creation and improvement of Learning Activity Protocols (LAPs) and Syllabi for all the courses at the university, working with faculty to improve teaching in the classroom, providing continuous training opportunities for faculty, providing academic support, improvement, and assessment of the university Learning Management System (Blackboard LMS), review of end-of-course evaluations with faculty and development of institutional assessments, and any other duties as assigned by the Director of Educational Development or the Vice President of Academic Affairs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Master’s degree; MS in Instructional Design or Education preferred,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,

ADP Academic Advisor

Full-Time Position

JOB SUMMARY:
The ADP Academic Advisor provides advising services to accelerated degree program students, both online and at our regional locations. The ADP Advisor supports adult students in our Accelerated Degree Program with academic advising and assistance with university processes. The ADP Advisor maintains relationships with students and is a critical part of the university’s ongoing retention efforts. Our advisors are proactive guides and academic coaches and focused on maximizing ADP student graduation rates. The ADP advisor presents informational workshops, works closely with Admissions, Registrar’s Office, Student Accounts and Financial Aid to provide a high level of service to students, and maintains advising files for all ADP students. The ADP advisor will be required to work some evenings and Saturdays.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.

Tuition Planner - ADP

Full-Time Position

Summary:
Under direct supervisor, the ADP Tuition Planner is responsible for working with all online and satellite students as it relates to the tuition process for Post University. This position coordinates the different payment options to ensure that student tuition obligations are being met. The ADP Tuition Planner will provide excellent customer service to students in a proactive manner and utilize problem solving skills to work with students to promote success and retention.

This position requires some evening and weekend hours to meet the operational needs of the Office of Student Finance.

Requirements:

Sales Trainer - ADP

Full-Time Position

Post University is currently accepting applications for the role of Sales Trainer-ADP. 

Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Management, this position is responsible for partnering with admission leadership to identify sales training strategies resulting in accelerated revenue growth. This position will help to develop familiarity with University Mission, and a multitude of enrollment concepts, best practices, policy and procedures. The ADP-Sales Trainer will develop and deliver training programs for inside sales representatives and inside sales managers, including initial training for new hires, new product/promotion training, accountability, motivation, etc.; set training sequence and agendas; facilitate/lead training sessions; evaluate training effectiveness.
Some evening and weekend hours are required.

Requirements:

  •  Minimum BS/BA Degree Required; Masters Degree Preferred
  • 3-5 years sales, customer service mentoring/training inside sales team.
  • Higher education enrollment preferred. 
  • Track record as a successful rep and/or manager, ability to design and deliver engaging training using a variety of interactive methods, and excellent one-to-one and group coaching. (e.g. empathy, credibility, urgency, communication skills) Well versed in Relationship Based/Consultative Selling principles.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Detailed oriented, organized and the ability to multi-task.
  • A wide degree of creativity, technology skills and latitude is expected.
  • Experience using CRM applications and/or sales force automation to ensure staff effectiveness return on investment of innovative training methods and tools.
  • Advanced computer expertise in MS Office.
