EAGLES HAVE MANY REASONS TO CELEBRATE THIS SEASON
Soccer teams earn academic merit: The men's and women's soccer teams were both awarded 2011-12 Team Academic Awards by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. To be honored, a squad must maintain a grade-point average of 3.0 or better. In addition, junior forward Joe Baccielo was selected to the Capital One Academic All-America Division II Second Team in November, making him the first Academic All-American in school history. He was also named the 2012 CACC Player of the Year; a Daktronics NCAA Division II Second Team All-American; and a 2012 National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Third Team All-American. Joe also had the distinct honor of leading Post to its second straight CACC Regular Season Title and being named the Daktronics NCAA Division II East Region Co-Player of the Year.

Sprint Football team wraps up best-ever season: The Eagles rounded out the 2012 campaign on a program-best five-game win streak. Post's only two losses during the season came to league champion Army and second place Navy. The team also shattered another school record when four student-athletes were named to the All-Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) First Team in November.

Athletics to live stream all home basketball games: Great news, Eagles fans! Earlier this month, the Post University athletic department announced that all men's and women's basketball home games will now be live video streamed on http://www.PostEagles.com, offering real-time game access to those who cannot physically attend.
POST UNIVERSITY TELLS INTERACTIVE 'EVOLUTION OF DISTANCE LEARNING' STORY

.

The infographic highlights 16 milestones that tell the story of how distance learning has evolved since 1892 (just two years after Post University was founded!) and includes predictions for the next major milestone from several higher education experts.

'PLAZA SUITE' BRINGS CROWDS AND LAUGHTER TO CAMPUS
.At Post University, the first weekend in December was one of standing room only performances in the Leever Center as The Post Theatrical Players raised the curtain on its fall production of Neil Simon’s comedy "Plaza Suite." Following preview performances for students, faculty, and staff, the rotating cast delivered laughs to full houses of appreciative fans.

While offering free shows to the public as a community service, Post Theatrical productions offer the opportunity for both experienced and untried performers to practice their craft in a fun and intimate environment. With students and employees working side by side with area theatre professionals, under the direction of veteran stage performer Bob Tansley, the group has developed a reputation for presenting quality theatre at no cost to audience members.
