POST UNIVERSITY GRADUATE MARIAN LANOUETTE PUBLISHES HER SECOND MURDER MYSTERY
Accountant by day, murder mystery author by night...Marian Lanouette's story sounds like it leapt from the pages of a book itself. But this is the non-fiction tale of a Post University graduate who found a way to make her higher education work on two levels.

To find out how Marian carefully planned the selection of her classes to feed her passions for both accounting and creative writing, click HERE to read her story on Post University's official blog, FuturePost (blog.post.edu).

POST MEN'S SOCCER ENDS SEASON WITH BEST RECORD EVER
The Post University men's soccer team suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 double-overtime defeat in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament against Wilmington on November 15th to finish its season. But the post-season time-off now provides the team an opportunity to reflect on the highlights of what was the program's best season ever.

.

The Eagles finished the season at 15-3-2, their best record in program history. Post also achieved its highest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) ranking of No. 5 this season. The Eagles defeated two top-10 teams, most recently a 1-0 victory over No. 1 LIU-Post on October 23rd.

In a post-game interview, Coach Ted Haley summed up the year. "I'm very proud of the job these guys have done all season. All of the seniors had tremendous leadership and work ethic all year to get us to where we (are)."

SECOND ANNUAL HONORS PROGRAM RECEPTION CELEBRATES SUCCESS AND FOCUSES ON THE FUTURE
.
The growing Honors Program at Post University has much to celebrate, and its members took some time to do just that at the second annual Honors Program Reception held once again at the beautiful Country Club of Waterbury. The evening was one of reflection and planning, with opportunities provided for students to socialize with faculty and friends and take advantage of the many opportunities on tap for the coming semester.

Planned by Honors Program Director Linda Kobylarz, the evening's schedule was a well-balanced mix of congratulatory speeches aimed at motivating program members to continue and expand on their efforts, informative comments from students outlining ways the program has aided them in their college careers, and breakout sessions allowing students to discuss and sign up for future community service projects, trips, and a planned Honors Program newsletter.

With its constant growth a sign of things to come, the Honors Program is poised to provide a rich and ambitious set of academic offerings for even more highly motivated and academically accomplished students in the semesters ahead.
