. U.S. NEWS NAMES POST UNIVERSITY ON ITS 2013 ‘BEST ONLINE PROGRAMS' LIST
We recently found out some exciting news! U.S. News & World Report ranked Post University twice on its 2013 'Best Online Programs' report. Our Online Bachelor's Programs were ranked in the top 20 in the country, and our Online MBA Degree Program offered through The Malcolm Baldrige School of Business made the top 100 list of online graduate business programs.

This recognition is an affirmation of the quality of our approach to online learning and to the growth of our online student population. And most important, it is a testament to the caliber of our graduates!

IN REMEMBRANCE: COMMUNITY MOURNS LOSS OF ONE OF OUR OWN
Post University recently faced the unimaginably tragic loss of Master of Human Services graduate Rachel D'Avino in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. Rachel also was the niece of Cindy Carmody, who is the office manager in our Athletics department.

After earning her master's degree, D'Avino, 29, was working toward her doctorate at the University of St. Joseph in Hartford. In lieu of flowers, it asked that memorial donations be made to Autism Speaks, an advocacy organization.

POST UNIVERSITY RELEASES 'THE ADULT LEARNER SURVIVAL GUIDE'
. In our last newsletter, we told you to keep your eyes peeled for an e-book for adult learners in the New Year, containing the top submissions from our 'Advice to Your Former Self' contest. The wait is over! "The Adult Learner Survival Guide: Wisdom, Inspiration, and Advice for Moms, Dads, Military Personnel, and Other Working Adults" is now live for your reading pleasure.

The e-book contains 30 true stories from current and former adult learners from around the country, including some of our very own alumni! Their tales of struggle and success, and countless lessons learned along the way, are sure to enlighten any adult learner.

OUR MILITARY PROGRAM WINS THREE AWARDS FOR 2013
Our military students and alumni are a huge part of our Post University family. Three of the biggest military publications – G.I. Jobs, Military Times Edge, and Military Advanced Education – have all recently recognized our dedication to our military students by naming Post University on their respective 2013 lists of top military schools. .

We're humbled by these acknowledgments of the efforts we're making to provide excellent educational opportunities for our nation's Armed Forces, and we're privileged to continue serving our nation's military in ways that improve their lives and the lives of their families.

.STEPHEN SOKOL ANNOUNCED AS HEAD GOLF COACH
On February 13, Post University athletic director Anthony Fallacaro welcomed Stephen Sokol to the Post University team as the men's golf coach. A 2001 NCAA Division II National Champion and Academic All-American, Sokol is an active touring golf professional and won the 2003 Connecticut Open. We're looking forward to the team’s premiere under Sokol’s leadership this spring!
