POST UNIVERSITY CELEBRATES 120 YEARS AT 2010 ALUMNI PICNIC

On Saturday, July 10, a group of Alumni gathered to reminisce and to see firsthand how much has changed on campus in the past several years. In addition to new walkways and beautiful New England sitting walls that line the way to the Leever Center, they got a glimpse of our newly renovated Dining Hall.

We have two more Alumni events in the making - one in Philadelphia on September 24th in connection with the University's first ever football game, and one on our Waterbury campus on October 30th for Homecoming. We hope you will hold the dates for one or both of these exciting events. More information will be coming your way soon.

BACK-TO-SCHOOL CAMPUS REPAIRS ARE UNDERWAY

On-campus students, faculty and staff who want to play a little B-ball after classes and on weekends will have access to a brand new, lighted basketball court not far from one of the on-campus dorms this Fall. In addition, the girls' softball team and the University's first-ever football team will practice on new fields located near Okinaga Hall. Torrance Hall is undergoing a facelift, and the library will be home to twice as many computer stations.

POST UNIVERSITY LAUNCHES TWO NEW BLOGS

Looking for updates on what's happening on campus, in the world of online higher education, in the areas of creativity and innovation, etc.? Check out Post University's new blogs. Our Main Campus Blog is called the "Eagle's Nest" and our Accelerated Degree Program Blog is called "Post Connections."

NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART GAME Design & ANIMATION LAB ADDED TO CAMPUS

This Fall, Post University will add a Certificate in Game Design & Animation to the programs offered on its Waterbury campus. As part of this new program, the University has created a state-of-the-art Game Design & Animation Lab. Students can complete the certificate as part of any degree program.

Thomas AbbottThomas M. Abbott
Thomas M. Abbott, Post University’s Academic Program Manager for Business Administration, Finance & Economics, Management and Marketing, and Assistant Coach Men’s & Women’s Tennis, joined the University after a 30-year career as a corporate executive and independent consultant. Because of these roles, he’s brought a wealth of practical and hands-on experience to the classroom.
