A: In order to participate in the May commencement ceremony, undergraduate students must be within 6 credits of completing their degree at the end of the Spring Semester or MOD 4. Graduate students must be within 3 credits of completing their degree in order to participate. Please check with your Academic Advisor to ensure that you have met all the requirements for graduation.
A: Commencement exercises will be held under a tent on the Great Lawn of Post University’s main campus located at 800 Country Club Road, Waterbury, CT 06723.
A: Tickets will be mailed on or around April 1, 2014.
A: Graduation will take place rain or shine! Please dress for the weather, and encourage your guests to bring rain gear in the event of inclement weather.
A: There will be limited guest seating under the tent, but we cannot guarantee seating under the tent. We will provide additional uncovered seating outside the tented area. If you need handicap seating accommodations, please contact Caitlyn Whitmoyer at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, May 2, 2014.
A: Parking for Commencement is located off campus at the Chase Collegiate School, 565 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. There will be shuttles from designated parking areas to campus before and after the ceremony.
A: On or around April 15, you will receive a separate email with a link to a website page containing your name as it will be read during commencement, and as it will appear in the commencement program and on your diploma. To ensure your name appears correctly on your diploma, please review this information carefully and confirm with the Registrar’s Office.
A: Because of space concerns, we ask that students earning an undergraduate degree invite no more than 4 guests and those earning a graduate degree invite no more than 6 guests.
A: Simply go to http://www.Post.edu/livestream starting at 10 a.m. (graduate) or 3 p.m. (undergraduate) on May 10th, 2014.
A: Yes, all members of the Post University community and anyone else interested are invited to take part in our virtual commencement.
A: After the verification of final grades has been completed, diplomas for May graduates will be mailed in June to those students who have fulfilled all of their course requirements. Diplomas will be mailed to the same address that you included on your graduation application. Your diploma will not be released if you have any type of outstanding obligation with the University (i.e., library fees/overdue books, account balances, etc.).
