Post University offers the following benefits, primarily to full-time employees:
Medical and Dental Insurance
Post University offers a variety of insurance plan options to those who wish to participate in our benefits program. In addition, we provide an opt-out bonus to those employees who have coverage outside Post University. Part-time employees also are eligible for certain insurance options.
Life Insurance
Post University provides basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance for its full-time employees. In addition, we offer a buy-up option to increase your insurance coverage should you choose to do so.
Flexible Spending & Dependent Care Accounts

These accounts allow employees to set aside pre-tax dollars from their earnings to pay for qualified medical and/or dependent care expenses.
Post University employees can plan ahead for their future financial needs by participating in our traditional 401(k) plan and/or our Roth 401(k) plan.
Post University offers a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for its full-time employees. The EAP is intended for those times when an employee or immediate family member might need personal, confidential assistance related to legal, financial or other matters.

Post University recognizes that time away from work is beneficial to both our employees and the University. That’s why in addition to paid holidays, employees also receive paid time off and paid sick days.
Tuition Assistance
Full-time and part-time employees of Post University and their immediate family (spouses and dependent children) are eligible to receive a 90% tuition discount at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Campus Fitness Center
Connecticut-based employees have access to the Drubner Fitness Center on campus.
Connecticut-based employees have access to the university’s on-campus dining hall for breakfast, lunch or even dinner.
Partnership Discounts
Post University maintains partnerships with many local companies to provide employee discounts, including cell phone services (Verizon and AT&T), AFLAC, and Liberty Mutual Insurance, among others.
Referral Rewards
Post University encourages its employees to recommend candidates for career opportunities. Bonuses are awarded if a full-time employee referral accepts an offer and maintains satisfactory employment for at least 90 days.

At Post University, each new employee participates in a two-day orientation program where they will learn more about enrolling in our benefits programs. They also have an opportunity to meet the Post University leadership team and other colleagues, and ask questions about our culture, policies and procedures. Our goal is to ensure that each new employee feels welcome, informed and able to make a smooth transition into our community. Although we will take the time to answer all your questions, here are some answers to some of the more frequently asked questions.
When am I eligible for benefits?
You will be eligible for health benefits and participation in the University’s 401K plan on the first day of the month following your first day of employment. Tuition benefits are available after 90 days.
How do I enroll in the health, dental and vision insurance plans?
Our Human Resources office will provide you will all the information and materials you need to enroll once you have accepted your offer of employment. You can then complete the online enrollment process within your first week of employment.
Can I enroll my dependents in the insurance programs?
Yes, you may enroll eligible dependents. Details on eligibility will be provided in the benefits package provided to you by our Human Resources office.
Can I receive an opt-out bonus if I don’t need the insurance offered through the university?
Yes. Our Human Resources office can provide more information on this.
