Post University is currently accepting applications for the role of The Default Management Processor.
JOB SUMMARY:
To maintain a cohort default rate that allows us to offer Title IV Loans to our student population. This is accomplished by educating students who are attending, who have graduated or who have withdrawn from our school, and who have been awarded Title IV Aid via the Direct Loan Program, as to their responsibilities and current options available in repayment. This candidate will be responsible for working on default management initiatives and financial literacy and maintaining a low cohort default rate. Conduct default aversion strategies appropriate for the campus population. Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers. Contact and follow up on delinquent borrowers via phone, letter, email, etc. and advise of their repayment responsibility and options; after Graduation or LDA tracking. Serve as liaison between the student borrower and the loan servicer to obtain verbal forbearances and to update borrower information.
