Digital Resource Specialist

Post University is currently accepting applications for the role of Digital Resource Specialist.


The digital resource specialist will be a resource for digital initiatives at the University. S/he will provide research, support, and technology expertise for digital projects.

The essential job functions are:

  • Assist faculty and staff with finding, evaluating, and using digital content
  • Prepare educational materials regarding digital content, including copyright and intellectual property right
  • Collect analytics (when and where available) on ECM requests, implementation, troubleshooting, efficacy, material retention, etc.
  • Maintain a local database of created and collected ECM materials for faculty and staff access as needed.
  • Assist with technical aspects of digital integration
  • Be available for appointments with faculty and staff
  • Assist with the integration of digital content into University platforms and  publications, as needed
  • Prepare research surrounding digital learning opportunities
  • Interact and collaborate with a variety of departments across campus including, but not limited to, Instructional Design, Integrated Technology, Registrar, President’s Office, Student Accounts, Library,  and Student Life


  • Master’s degree required; MALS preferred
  • Experience in a higher education setting working with faculty preferred
  • At least two years working with digital research required
