Instructional Coach

Post University is currently accepting applications for the role of Instructional Coach.


We are looking for people passionate about student learning and improving teaching online and on-campus. The ideal Instructional Coach is curious about the future direction of higher education, and engaged in the ongoing developments in learning derived from brain science, technology, and the arts. We seek individuals who are able to significantly contribute to a creative, open-minded, and flexible environment focused on improving student learning and outcomes. Our environment is dynamic and requires talented people who have a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding team and individual goals.


  • Master’s degree in Education related area is preferred. A Master’s degree (not in Education) or a Bachelor’s degree will be consider with minimum of 5 years full-time teaching/training experience (will be required to attain an M.Ed. or similar, while working at Post University)
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver instructor training and development sessions – both group and one-on-one sessions.
  • Teaching experience in both online and face-to-face formats required.
  • Positive attitude and able to encourage positive behaviors in others.
  • Knowledge of major learning theories and practices.
  • Ability to effectively translate theory and technology into practice in effective learning experiences for both students and faculty.
  • Ability to create and deliver meaningful learning experiences for faculty that develop their ability to manage, engage in, and create outstanding learning environments and experiences for students.
  • Strong learning technology skills and general technology skills.
  • Must enjoy problem solving both curricular methodology issues and technology issues.
  • Learning Management Systems (Blackboard preferred)
  • MS Office Products
  • Strong collaboration skills (the entire ID effort is a collaborate endeavor)
  • Excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize tasks and manage one’s own time.
  • Web/Video/Audio editing tool skills (Adobe software, including Fireworks and/or Photoshop, Presenter and Captivate) are preferred.
  • Social Media Tools
