Post University is currently accepting applications for the role of Part-Time Lifeguard.

JOB SUMMARY:

The lifeguard provides a safe aquatic environment and encourages spiritual, physical, and emotional growth and well-being to those using the facilities. They also ensure the safety of the facility user.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must have current American Red Cross or YMCA lifeguard training
  • Must report to work on time and be appropriately dressed – lifeguard shirt, swimsuit, and no long pants or shoes.
  • Must obey lifeguard Code of Conduct
  • Must know and be able to use emergency procedures, complete accident forms, and obey and enforce pol rules and regulations.
  • Maintain high degree of physical fitness and proficiency with rescue procedures and equipment.
  • Completing daily lifeguard checklist and pool activity log, use of equipment.
  • Understand/follow proper procedure for guarding swim lessons and physical positioning while guarding open swim times.
  • Must attend staff meeting and training lessons.
