Student Leader

Post University is currently accepting applications for the role of Student Leaders.
Only Full-Time Main Campus Post University students need apply.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The student leaders have a pivotal role on the Post University campus. They serve as an invaluable resource to their peers, faculty and staff. Student leaders not only engage others in campus involvement, they also educate and foster a greater sense of community.

For all student leadership positions a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average is required, with the exception being Peer Educator Resident Assistants are required to have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Student leader positions are open to students that are cleared financially and judicially.  It is required that student leaders participate in training sessions and execute programs.

STUDENT LEADER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average, with the exception being Peer Educator Resident Assistants 3.0 cumulative grade point average
  • Cleared financial and judicial status
  • Serve as a role model, educator, and mentor
  • Exemplify strong academic decision-making and responsible personal decision
  • Strong ability to work well with others and a diverse group of people
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with students
  • Abide by all Post University policies

Requirements to be an EPIC Member:

  • Exemplify what it means to lead a healthy college lifestyle

Requirements to be an Orientation Leader:

  • Assist with the implementation of the Fall New Student Orientation Program at Post

Requirements to be a Resident Assistant:

  • Serve on- duty and enforce Post University policies
  • Provide programming and community building for residents
  • Eager to serve on a Committee (Sustainability, Staff Development, A-Team)

Requirements to be a Peer Educator Resident Assistant:

  • All requirements for Resident Assistant
  • Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA)
  • Eager to attend and assist in teaching a first year CSA class
  • Serve as a resource to student by holding 5 office hours a week in your building to assist with schoolwork
