Biography


Academic Background:

  • J.D. – Quinnipiac University School of Law
  • B.S. – Finance – Villanova University

Teaching Background:

Attorney Parkmond serves as an Associate Professor for Post University, and also teaches at Naugatuck Valley Community College.

Teaching Philosophy:

Attorney Parkman’s teaching philosophy is centered on ensuring all students, including adult learners, play an active role in their own education.  She feels it is her job to stimulate and encourage thinking and provide “real-world” problem solving.  By providing a welcoming learning environment, her goal is to have every student leave the classroom with an expanded thinking of the topic and commitment to lifelong learning.

Professional Background:

Attorney Parkmond serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel with WorkPlace, Inc. in Waterbury.  Previously, she was a Partner with the Law Offices of Coleman, Williams & Parkmond, and a Legal Resource Associate for the Connecticut Department of Labor.
