Teaching Background:
A first-time teacher, Gus Haracopos began teaching as an Associate Faculty member at Post University in the spring of 2011. He teaches courses both on-campus and online.
Professional Background:
Dr. Haracopos has more than twenty years of clinical experience with children, adolescents and adults in a range of settings including schools, inpatient and outpatient facilities, residential and day treatment programs, and community centers. In addition to direct practice, he has held leadership roles in organizations devoted to therapeutic care and service, with responsibility for program development and implementation, and for the training and supervision of fellow professionals.
Dr. Haracopos is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the States of New York and Connecticut, and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. He is currently the School Counselor and Director of Student Services at Chase Collegiate School in Waterbury.
