Professional Background:

Dr. McFaul worked in the automotive industry for 30-years with General Motors Corporation (GM) retiring in May 2009. She started there as a test driver and was one of the first female drivers!  Her experience included the following positions:

  • Lead for GM Caribbean Sales
  • International Brand Manager for the Corvette
  • Director of Marketing for GM Japan
  • SME for Corporate Relationship Marketing – developed and taught CRM via GM University throughout the world for General Motors

Teaching Philosophy:

Student-centered focus on success.  Dr. McFaul believes in making herself available to her online students via telephone conversations throughout the semester to discuss Marketing, a subject she has passion for!

Personal Background:

Professional Memberships in the past have included WOMMA (Word-of-Mouth-Marketing Association), DMA Detroit (Direct Marketing Association, Detroit chapter), SOCAP International (Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals), and certified and member of COPC (Customer Operations & Performance Center).
