Financial Aid
Students who would like to have an award package created for the Accelerated Degree Program (ADP) must have applied and been accepted for admission to the Post University Regional Locations Programs. The first step in the financial aid process is to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which can be completed on the Web by visiting www.fafsa.ed.gov. Students may also obtain a paper application by contacting the Office of Student Finance at finaid@post.edu. Students will need to list Post University school code 001401 on the FAFSA in order to ensure the University receives the data necessary to calculate a financial aid package. Students who have attended other institutions beyond high school will need to request that an academic transcript be sent to the Office of Admissions before they can be matriculated. Students are eligible for financial aid if they take a minimum six credits per period of enrollment (16 weeks), which consists of two modules. Students should register in advance in order to avoid any revisions to financial aid due to enrollment status changes.
NOTE: The ADP Online Modules do not necessarily coincide with beginning or end of a regular/traditional semester and ADP students may start at the beginning of any module. Please contact our Financial Aid Office at (203) 596-4519, (203) 596-4517, or email Financial Aid finaid@post.edu for directions on how to fill your FAFSA form.
ALL financial aid documentation must be completed at least one week prior to the start of a module in order to secure financial aid and avoid any problems in obtaining books - Note: Accelerated Degree Program classes are offered in 8-week modules, starting six times per year.
