Takashi YamanakaTakashi Yamanaka is a retired educator with forty years experience in the international education industry. Mr. Yamanaka was educated in both Japan and the United States. He began his career in global education by started an English language school, which grew to be the largest of its kind in the region. He also established a sister-city exchange program between elementary school students, teachers, administrators, and political leaders of Kofu, Japan and Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. Yamanaka was also instrumental in the global expansion of one of the largest private educational institutions in Japan. He is currently a Board Member for both Colorado Heights University in Colorado Heights, Colorado and Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut. He now spends his time traveling around the world while actively engaging in community service and planting rice on his farm in the Japanese countryside. |
