Bachelor of Science in Accounting

Overview

Did you know that graduates with an accounting degree are among the most sought after new hires?  Jobs in the accounting and finance fields are expected to increase by about 20 percent over the next 4-5 years.

Accountants do more than just crunch numbers during tax season.  They perform audits of their clients' financial statements; offer management consulting services; analyze customer profitability; develop budgets; and provide tax planning and preparation services.

Post University's accounting program includes a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum that provides students with the skills and experiences they'll need to succeed in a wide range of career opportunities in public, private and non-profit organizations. Students not only take accounting courses; they take courses in liberal arts, organizational leadership, and personal development – all of which provide the breadth and depth of knowledge needed to become a leader in the accounting field.   Post students also have a chance to build their resumes by participating in cooperative education programs that give them hands-on, real-world work experience before they graduate.

Our accounting graduates take positions in both large multinationals and small, local firms as accountants, auditors, actuaries, budget analysts, financial managers, loan officers and counselors, and underwriters.
