Yoga is a proven stress-reducer and strength-builder. Veronica Kleeman, Kripalu-certified Yoga instructor, leads this class weekly in the Eagles Nest. Ms. Kleeman focuses on stress-reduction, mindfulness, flexibility, and strength-building.
Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a Yoga mat.

It's Spring Weekend! Celebrate outside, where there will be TONS of activities and giveaways! Grab a t-shirt, flip flops, or sunglasses. Make yourself some dog tags, rice jewelry, an airbrush towel, or a sand art project. Get a henna tattoo. Ride the surfboard simulator, extreme bungee jumper, or play on the inflatable slide! There'll be a DJ, and a massage therapist to help you relax!

Celebrate Spring Weekend with music, as the DJ leads us into Spring Weekend 2012. Dance the night away, have a picture taken in the photo booth, and enjoy the company of friends.
The event costs $.99 and students must sign-up in advance in the Student Activities office.

Every year Disneynature, the nature documentary arm of Disney, releases a new movie in theaters showing the beauty of our world and the animals in it. This year it's "Chimpanzee," a documentary about an adorable three-year-old chimp nicknamed Oscar who is raised as an orphan (and caught on camera). The Maritime Aquarium is different from most aquariums in that it focuses solely on one body of water: Long Island Sound, the "Estuary of National Significance," just outside our doors. The marine population that we exhibit includes varieties of crabs, lobsters, mollusks (like delicious and economically important oysters and clams), game fish, jellies, sea turtles, sharks (big and small) and - in the winter - visiting seals.
This event costs $5 and open to all students.

Celebrate Autism Awareness Month with FBLA! Show your support by donating to an Autism Awareness Charity and proudly display either your rubber bracelet or your Autism Awareness ribbon. FBLA will be outside of the dining hall from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Ed Laquidara is a passionate wildlife conservationist and educator. Ed presents the information necessary to students so they can make choices that will positively affect the natural world in which we live. He delivers hundreds of lectures each year, accompanied by some of the most impressive exotic animals from his facilities, which have become an important sanctuary for animals in need, taking in rescue animals from countless individuals and numerous institutions.

Around the World in 50 Minutes is a high-energy show/lecture presented by multi-award-winning author Marty Essen. It features interesting facts, humorous stories, and the best of the thousands of photos he took while traveling the world for his book, "Cool Creatures, Hot Planet: Exploring the Seven Continents." One part lecture, one part comedy - this is the type of show where the audience has fun laughing at the stories, oohing and aahing at the photos, and then, when it's all done, they realize just how much they've learned.

Waterbury's resident touring theatre troupe comes to Post University, with an excitingly different production of "Hamlet." Shakespeare's masterpiece is presented as a black and white movie written and directed by the title character and happening in his mind, complete with flashbacks, flash-forwards, and a sense of drama heightened by music.

KT Tatara's comedy is sometimes brutally honest but always funny. His logic-based opinions provide unique insight into timeless topics such as gender roles and race. KT performs across the United States and is one of the most requested comedians on the college circuit. He lives in Los Angeles where he can be seen nightly at the top comedy clubs.
