What our students say
I chose Post University because of its small size. I came from a community college and I wanted a more close knit kind of atmosphere at my next school. I have told all my friends that I am so thrilled that I chose Post University. I really liked the easy interactions with the professors and students alike. It’s a friendly and familiar community and the transition from my community college to Post U. was a breeze.I am a very non-traditional student and I’m quite pleased that it worked out the way it did. [Chris is in her 40s and has four children.]
I don’t like a lot of attention, but I’m proud because I worked really hard and it is an honor to be recognized for my hard work. My family and friends are very proud of me and it’s a great feeling to have something to show for the sacrifices we have all made. I also think it’s a great example for my kids to see that if you work hard you can accomplish great things.
The kids I come in contact with are my kids’ ages, but I have loved the interactions with the other students. It’s amazing that you can be 20 years older than somebody but you have so much in common. Everybody remembers everybody, and you all get to be friends. It’s really cut down the fear factor of attending a residential college as an older student. It’s been a great experience; I tell everybody about it and I already recruited one friend to go to Post next fall. I definitely got my monies worth and I have no regrets at all about going. Having an education is priceless.
Oh I absolutely would and I have. If you like smaller classrooms and more of a family-like, familiar atmosphere then it’s definitely the place for you. One of the biggest selling points is the fact that the customer service at Post is awesome. When you call, they call you right back and that’s one of the best things I can say. Everyone from the office staff, to professors go out of their way to make your experience at Post a memorable one. They really care about the students and it shows.
