Military Programs

Founded in 1890, Post University has been a pioneer in providing educational benefits to military personnel since 1976. With the help of faculty and staff who also have served as part of our nation's Armed Forces, the Waterbury, Connecticut-based university has designed its current-day military program to meet the needs of those who have served, are serving or want to serve their country.

We took the time to learn what military personnel need to be successful in this kind of program, and then made sure we could provide it. In fact, the Post University Military Program is directed by a retired Lt. Col. in the Army, who is supported by others who've served our country. Simply put, Post University is deeply committed to honoring the service of our nation’s military personnel – past, present and future.

Since Post University is a traditional, accredited University with an excellent online program, we can meet the needs of military personnel in flexible ways. Service men and women who want to earn a college degree from an accredited university have the option of:

  • Enrolling as a full-time undergraduate student at our main campus in Waterbury, CT. This is a perfect option for recent high school graduates or military veterans who want to enjoy a traditional college experience on our beautiful New England campus.

  • Pursuing their undergraduate or graduate degree in an accelerated 8-week format – either on campus or online through Post University Online. This is a perfect option for active duty personnel or veterans who prefer to take courses completely online, or during evenings and weekends at one of four regional locations in Connecticut, or a combination of the two.
