Post University has a growing ROTC program for students who want to earn their college degree and serve as an officer in the U.S. Army after graduation. 

Whether you're a college-bound high school student or already attending a college or university, Post University’s Army ROTC program not only has college scholarships available, but will enable you to serve your country as an officer in the U.S. Army, Army National Guard or Army Reserve after graduation. Scholarships are awarded based on a student's merit and grades, not financial need.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR INCOMING FRESHMAN STUDENTS

A Four-Year Scholarship is available for high school students planning on attending a four-year undergraduate college program. Contact your high school academic advisor or Campus Military Science department for more information. To qualify, you must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be between the ages of 17 and 26
  • Have a high school CGPA of at least 2.50
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Score minimum of 920 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required writing test scores)
  • Meet physical standards
  • Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard)

TWO-, THREE- AND FOUR-YEAR SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS


Depending on how far along you are in your college career, you could qualify for a four-, three- or two-year scholarship to complete you undergraduate degree. Contact your Campus Military Science department for more information. To qualify, you must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be between the ages of 17 and 26
  • Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Score minimum of 920 on the SAT or 19 on the ACT
  • Meet physical standards
  • Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard)

LIVING EXPENSES

Army ROTC scholarships also provide monthly living allowances for each school year. You can earn certain amounts depending on your level in the Army ROTC curriculum:

  • 1st year $300 per month
  • 2nd year $350 per month
  • 3rd year $450 per month
  • 4th year $500 per month

This allowance is also available to all non-scholarship Cadets enrolled in the Army ROTC Advanced Course (3rd and 4th year).

Campus Experience

  • Post University is regionally accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and is licensed by the State of Connecticut through the Connecticut Department of Education. 
  • Each military student has access to an admissions counselor who specializes in supporting military personnel, as well as an academic advisor who supports him or her throughout the entire degree program
