Graduate Financial Aid
The purpose of the Financial Aid Office at Post University is to provide financial guidance to our graduate students in attaining their educational goals. Financial assistance is available through a variety of resources. We encourage you to call or email the financial aid office at finaid@post.edu to address any questions or concerns that you may have. We will do our best to ensure that your questions are answered and that you have a clear understanding of the financial aid process.

Educational Loans
These may include low cost Federal Stafford Loans as well as private educational funding.
Employee Education Benefits
Many companies provide employee education benefits in the form of tuition reimbursement. Check with your employer about any education benefits that may be available to you.
Outside scholarships
Scholarships may be awarded to students by corporations, foundations, state, national and professional associations, civic organizations, and clubs have their own application and selection criteria for awarding private funds. We encourage you to research and apply for outside scholarships that are applicable. To assist you, we recommend the free scholarship web resources such as www.nextstudent.com or www.fastweb.com. Applying to outside scholarships is independent of Post University.
Eligibility:
In order to participate in any federal student financial aid program, an applicant must:
- Be accepted for enrollment or enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
- Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
- Not be in default on a Federal Perkins (NDSL) Loan, Federal Stafford Loan: Subsidized or Unsubsidized, or Federal SLS Loan.
- Not owe a refund on a Federal Pell Grant or SEOG Grant.
- Be registered with Selective Service, or be exempt.
Applying for Financial Aid
If you wish to be considered for financial aid, you must complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or renewal FAFSA. Be sure to indicate the Federal School Code for Post University, 001401. In order to allow adequate time for processing, it is recommended you file your FAFSA a few weeks before you plan to start your program. You may file the FAFSA on line at www.fafsa.ed.gov . First time applicants will need to request a Personal Identification Number (PIN) at www.pin.ed.gov.
Returning students are required to apply for financial aid every four modules.
The following documentation is required to complete your FAFSA application:
- Federal income tax return
- W-2 form
- Records of untaxed benefits received
- Current bank statements
- Records of other savings and investments, such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds
