WATERBURY, CONNECTICUT (July 28, 2008) – Following a national search conducted by Isaacson Miller, Post University's Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Kenneth Zirkle, Ph.D., as the incoming President of Post University, succeeding retiring president Patricia Sanders, Ph.D. Dr. Sanders will be awarded the title of President Emeritus of Post University.
Dr. Zirkle comes to Post from Becker College in Worchester, Massachusetts where he served as President for the past five years, with a proven track record in growth and leadership. During his tenure at Becker, he grew enrollment from 1,000 to 1,600 students, and transformed and expanded both the Worcester and Leicester campuses. In addition to launching several NCAA athletic programs he introduced new bachelor degree programs in nursing, game design and equestrian management. In addition, he recently initiated accelerated degree programs in teaching, business administration and psychology. Prior to Becker College, Dr. Zirkle served as the President of Findlay University in Ohio for twenty years. Under Dr. Zirkle's leadership Findlay grew significantly from 1,000 students to over 4,700 students as the University introduced new academic programs, expanded facilities and enhanced the school's reputation.

Over the past four years, Post University has introduced new programs and increased enrollments. With the Master of Human Services and recent introduction of the Master of Business Administration, Post is continuing to expand into new graduate degree programs while also adding new certificate and baccalaureate offerings. In addition to our campus-based programs, Post has become one of the leading providers of online education having recently been named by Online Education Database as one of the top 20 online colleges in the United States. In addition, Post has added significantly to its corporate partnerships that support employer's educational benefit programs.
