Post University Holds Press Conference To Announce New Football Program For Athletes Who Are 172 Lbs Or Lighter

 

Waterbury Mayor Michael Jarjura and State Representative Selim Noujaim to Participate in Press Conference at Their Alma Mater

WHAT:
At a press conference on Tuesday, Nov. 17, Post University will announce that beginning in Fall 2010, it will be the first New England University to compete in the same football league as Army and Navy, and the only university in Connecticut to cater to players who are 172 pounds or lighter.  Mayor Michael J. Jarjura and State Representative Selim Noujaim, both graduates of Post, will join Post University President Ken Zirkle and Athletic Director Anthony Fallacaro at the press conference where a prototype football helmet and details on the program will be revealed.
