There are a few basic requirements that you must meet in order to qualify to sit for the Arkansas CPA Exam. First you must have earned at least a Baccalaureate degree with 150 hours of coursework, or have a graduate degree. You will need at least 30 semester hours of graduate level accounting coursework and 6 semester hours additional business courses. Arkansas doesn’t have any age restrictions for becoming a CPA nor do they require U.S. citizenship, however, they do require that their CPA candidates be a state resident or have an office in the state.
