Job Summary:

Job Summary:
Performs a full range of career development services including programming, employer outreach, and coordination of the cooperative education program.  Will counsel individual students and alumni in various phases of the career development process and provide instruction on job seeking skills such as resume, cover letter writing, networking, interviewing, and effective job search strategies.  Will assist with the overall operation of the office including the ongoing evaluation of services, building relationships both internally and externally, and promoting services and events.  Some evening hours may be necessary; may include some weekends and travel.

Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree required. 2-5 years relevant experience required.
Preferred:  Master's degree in counseling, college student personnel, psychology OR Master's degree in a related field (including business or human resources) with Career Development Facilitator Certification. 
Knowledge of psychological measurements, career development theory, techniques and trends; exceptional organizational and presentation skills; prior knowledge and use of technology within a career office including recruitment databases, ability to travel locally and nationally.

EDUCATION ACADEMIC PROGRAM MANAGER
FULL-TIME POSITION

Post University of Waterbury, Connecticut seeks an enthusiastic educator, with experience in the primary or secondary education system and strong management skills, to build a new masters program in education.

 This individual will lead a collaborative effort to the design an innovative Master's in Education (M.Ed.) degree program. It is intended that this program will address a broad array of instructional needs expressed by teachers, administrators, and education leaders.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of higher education and specifically graduate education of teachers. In addition this person should have excellent writing and public speaking skills and the ability to conceptualize and build academic programs within a collaborative university setting. Once the program has been approved, the candidate will be expected to teach courses in the program, assess curriculum and course design, hire, mentor, and supervise teaching staff and manage the program budget.  Based on performance and the anticipated growth of this maters program it is expected that this person will become the manager of Post University's education programs.

Applicants must have either an Ed.D. or a Ph.D. in Education or related field with a minimum of 10 years of work experience.

Job Summary:
Position reports to the Director of ADP Enrollment, and will be responsible for personal online and regional site admission conversion goals as well as a range of admissions responsibilities in support of department leadership.

The ideal candidate must possess: Strong leadership skills with the ability and desire to work as a contributing member of a driven, energetic, and fun-loving enrollment team. Superior team attitude with the willingness to implement out-of-the box staff training and motivation. The ability to work and succeed outside of a conventional work week that may require weekend and evening hours. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skill to enhance the college's outreach to prospective students, and internal staff.

The selected candidate's duties may include but are not limited to:

Attaining personal/individual student conversion goals. Maintaining high levels of communication with applicants, accepted students, and matriculated students before, during, and after the admission process. Organizing and Over-seeing Open Houses, Information Meetings, Telephone Call Campaigns and Initiatives. Managing and Auditing Inquiry and communications systems. Assisting in the selection, development and management of new staff. Assist in staff scheduling. Assist in the day-to-day supervision of ADP Admission Representatives.

Requirements:
Applicants should also demonstrate a firm commitment and understanding of value-based selling and/or a consultative sales approach. Three to five years of experience in for-profit college enrollment/admissions or a related field is preferred. A Master Degree in Business Management or Higher Education Administration is required. Candidates with a Masters Degree in-progress, who also have relevant professional experience, will be strongly considered. Prior management experience is preferred.

ADP ACADEMIC ADVISOR

Job Summary:
The ADP Academic Advisor provides advising services to accelerated degree program students, both online and at our regional locations.  The ADP Advisor supports adult students in our Accelerated Degree Program with academic advising and assistance with university processes. The ADP Advisor maintains relationships with students as part of the university's ongoing retention efforts.  Our advisors are proactive guides and academic coaches for ADP students.  The ADP advisor presents informational workshops, works closely with Admissions, Registrar's Office, Student Accounts and Financial Aid to provide a high level of service to students, and maintains advising files for all ADP students.  The ADP advisor will be required to work some evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.  Excellent phone, email and face-to-face communication skills; maintains a positive attitude.  Good organizational skills; able to keep consistent contact with 250-350 advisees.  Good computer skills; able to use Microsoft Office products and learn university systems.   Enjoys working with and supporting adult students.  Problem solver; is a solutions-oriented person.   Energetic and goal-oriented; strong interest in working in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking.  Works well in a team environment; enjoys working as a contributing member of the Advising team.  One to three years experience in an academic environment or counseling.

Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Financial Aid-ADP reports directly to the Director of Financial Aid. This position is responsible for supervision of ADP tuition planners in the counseling and advising of new or continuing ADP students on financial aid, ensuring that established policies, procedures and regulations are followed. Coordinates the continuing student finance process by ensuring that all ADP tuition planners are interviewing students, re-determining eligibility, ensuring all paperwork is completed and forwarded if necessary. In addition he/she ensures that all ADP tuition planners provide excellent customer service to students and work to overcome student issues/problems to promote student success and persistence.

This position requires some evening hours (estimated 2 evenings per week) and one Saturday per month (mornings) to meet the operational needs of the Office of Student Finance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Associate's degree with four years experience can be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a higher education financial aid position, or five years of related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, flexibility, as well as a teamwork mind set are essential.

Having just completed a national search for a new president Post University has re-initiated its national search for Vice President for Academic Affairs.

The Vice President for Academic Affairs serves as the chief academic officer of the University and reports to the President and is a manager on the President's executive team. The Vice President provides dynamic and strategic campus leadership for the quality and integrity of all of the University's academic degree programs, assessing student learning outcomes, insuring the development and delivery of the highest quality instructional and student support experiences

The individual selected for this position must be an exceptional manager and be able to provide academic leadership that will continue the University's advancement in academic quality, programmatic expansion, innovative curriculum design, content development, assessment and enrollment growth while maintaining a collegial environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as chief academic officer of all degree programs, undergraduate and graduate programs, offered on-campus, online, or at a University site or branch.
  • Provide creative and energetic leadership in strategic planning and developing new initiatives that fit with the University's mission
  • Demonstrate skills in creating dynamic and engaged student learning environments
  • Identify, document and maintain academic policies and procedures
  • Evaluate teaching and support staff systematically
  • Provide leadership and oversee program assessment and learning outcomes assessment
  • Identify, quantify and maintain data relevant to program and teacher evaluation and student success and retention
  • Support the president in all major strategic planning efforts
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the budget planning, allocation, and accountability processes of all units reporting to the Vice President

  • Recommend to the president decisions on academic personnel hiring, continuation, promotion, salary and termination.

Qualifications

Post University is a NCAA Division II institution and a member of the CACC Conference. Eagle Athletics is seeking a part-time head men's & women's Tennis Coach, beginning immediately. The head coach is responsible for the direction, instruction, supervision, and coaching of the Tennis program. Responsibilities also include the overall administration of the program including budget, equipment and travel. The recruitment of quality student-athletes is an essential responsibility of this position. Organization of constructive practices focused on player development is also a necessary part of the position. A valid driver's license is an integral part of the position for driving the team van to matches.

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. 
  • Three (3) years experience as an assistant or head coach at the collegiate level is preferred, as well as former college playing experience.
  • Involvement with youth tennis organizations is beneficial.
