ADP ENROLLMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Post University is in the process of expanding and growing it's programs and degree offerings. We are located in Waterbury, CT and are searching for outgoing and goal oriented individuals to join our team of Enrollment Representatives in our Accelerated Degree Program Division (ADP).

Since our Enrollment Representatives are a critical part of our students' success, our ideal candidates genuinely want to change people's lives through education!

Job Summary

The ADP Enrollment Representative is responsible for responding to student inquiries regarding admissions in the online and satellite campuses of Post University. The ADP Enrollment Representative will utilize relationship building skills, excellent communication skills and a consultative approach to gain commitment from prospective students in this high volume position.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred; however an equivalent combination of education, experience or training can be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in a higher education admissions and/or recruiting position with a consultative sales approach to successfully promote our program is desired.
  • Prior call center, customer service, marketing, and/or sales experience a plus.
  • Ability to display superior relationship building and communication skills including an excellent phone presence and personality.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet applications and database software are a must.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to work in a team oriented, objected focused environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment

Instructional Designer

Full-Time Position

Post University is currently accepting applications for the role of Instructional Designer.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Instructional Designer (ID) provides proactive course development training and support to faculty. The primary duty of the ID is to work with faculty in the development of online courses. Other duties include supporting the creation and improvement of Learning Activity Protocols (LAPs) and Syllabi for all the courses at the university, working with faculty to improve teaching in the classroom, providing continuous training opportunities for faculty, providing academic support, improvement, and assessment of the university Learning Management System (Blackboard LMS), review of end-of-course evaluations with faculty and development of institutional assessments, and any other duties as assigned by the Director of Educational Development or the Vice President of Academic Affairs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Master’s degree; MS in Instructional Design or Education preferred,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • A great attitude, energy, and people skills,
  • Good time-management skills,
  • An understanding of learning and design theory,
  • Excellent computer skills,
  • Knowledge of and experience with Blackboard LMS (those with experience in WebCT, eCollege, Angel, or another common LMS will be considered).
  • A positive attitude that seeks to learn new things and get involved in the improvement of the university.

ADP Academic Advisor

Full-Time Position

Post University is currently accepting applications for the role of ADP Academic Advisor.

Summary:
The ADP Academic Advisor provides advising services to accelerated degree program students, both online and at our regional locations. The ADP Advisor supports adult students in our Accelerated Degree Program with academic advising and assistance with university processes. The ADP Advisor maintains relationships with students as part of the university’s ongoing retention efforts. Our advisors are proactive guides and academic coaches for ADP students. The ADP advisor presents informational workshops, works closely with Admissions, Registrar’s Office, Student Accounts and Financial Aid to provide a high level of service to students, and maintains advising files for all ADP students. The ADP advisor will be required to work some evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent phone, email and face-to-face communication skills; maintains a positive attitude.
  • Good organizational skills; able to keep consistent contact with 250-350 advisees.
  • Good computer skills; able to use Microsoft Office products and learn university systems.
  • Enjoys working with and supporting adult students.
  • Problem solver; is a solutions-oriented person.
  • Energetic and goal-oriented; strong interest in working in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking.
  • Works well in a team environment; enjoys working as a contributing member of the Advising team.
  • One to three years experience in an academic environment or counseling.

Tuition Planner - ADP

Full-Time Position

Post University is currently accepting applications for the role of Tuition Planner-ADP.

Summary:
Under direct supervisor, the ADP Tuition Planner is responsible for working with all online and satellite students as it relates to the tuition process for Post University. This position coordinates the different payment options to ensure that student tuition obligations are being met. The ADP Tuition Planner will provide excellent customer service to students in a proactive manner and utilize problem solving skills to work with students to promote success and retention.

This position requires some evening and weekend hours to meet the operational needs of the Office of Student Finance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred; however an equivalent combination of education, experience or training can be substituted for the bachelor’s degree.
  • Previous experience in a higher education position such as admissions, tuition planning and /or student finance preferred.

ADP Education Field Enrollment Rep

Full-Time Position

Post University is currently accepting applications for the role of ADP Education Field Enrollment Representative.

Summary:
This position is for a professional educator interested in working with school districts to introduce online educational opportunities to teachers, administrators and staff. This position requires an understanding of school systems and the personal characteristics to provide creditability and comfort to decision makers in an effort to communicate and secure mutually beneficial relationships.  This is a consultative role to school superintendents and other high level staff.  The outcome of this professional’s efforts is a working relationship between the school district and Post University that provides a WIN to all parties involved.

Ultimately the person in this role is responsible for enrollment of teachers at Post University through the partnership relationships established with school districts. This person must be goal oriented and motivated to succeed.  While there is supervision over this position, it is expected that this person be a self-starter and be able to manage her/his time and resources effectively. . The education Field Representative will utilize relationship building skills, excellent communication skills and a consultative approach while actively pursuing partnerships with school districts. Performance will be measured based on teacher enrollments by school district.  This position is primarily a telecommuting position and requires some evening and weekend hours.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Education preferred or Bachelor’s degree with appropriate experience.
  • Previous sales experience desired.
  • Must understand school systems and associated organizations and personnel. Prior work with superintendents, union leaders, curriculum personnel and teachers is desired.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent PC skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet applications and database software.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and implement assigned responsibilities and to work well under pressure to meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and provide exemplary customer service along with a professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • High energy person who is a self-starter with the ability to work independently AND in a team oriented, objective focused environment.
  • Valid Drivers License
