Minnesota Accounting Requirements

All MN candidates who applied under the 120-hour educational requirements, MUST sit for at least 1 section of the CPA exam before July 1st 2006. Candidates who fail to sit for at least 1 section of the examination, will be required to re-apply under the new Minnesota educational requirements.

All candidates can view old/new educational requirements;
http://www.revisor.leg.state.mn.us/arule/1105/1500.html.

Official transcripts may be enclosed with applications or submitted separately but they must be received by CPA Examination Service at the time of application.

Candidates who have completed educational requirements at institutions outside the U.S. must have their credentials evaluated by the Education Credential Evaluators, Inc. Candidates should obtain evaluation request forms directly from the evaluating service. Evaluations may be submitted by candidates to CPA Examination Services at the time of application. All evaluations must contain subject analysis evaluation report. (A course by course evaluation is not acceptable.)

"I think this online format of studying is great, it really brings out the best in people. By adding a new dimension to learning by learning from each other. This level of discussion and knowledge sharing just is not achievable in traditional classroom courses. Glad to be here."
