Why did you choose Post University?

I had such a good experience in my undergrad program that I decided that the online program would give me the flexibility I needed in my professional career and allow me to move up the corporate ladder. Why did you decide to pursue your MBA while working full-time?

I chose to do my MBA while working full-time because there are no more avenues to move up in the healthcare field without a formal business degree.  So once I decided that I wanted to move, I knew Post University was the right place for me.

Did you think Post will provide a good return on your investment?

It already has provided a good return on my investment. Even though I haven’t completed the MBA yet, I was selected to be on a policy-making committee and that wouldn’t have happened without my pursuit of an MBA. And it allows me to be a viable candidate for upper level management positions that I wouldn’t even be a candidate for without the MBA degree.

Has the Post program met or exceeded your expectations?

The program has exceeded my expectations in every way, shape or form. First, the core information that I’m being taught is completely applicable to the corporate world. In addition, to move up in healthcare field you need to understand business processes and the financial aspects of organizations, and this program provides that.

Is there an area in the Post MBA program that has had a substantial impact on your professional life?

I think the fact that that I’m interacting with other professionals on a daily basis and getting different viewpoints from them, and then applying what I learn to my job is really important.

The Post University MBA program also has done a phenomenal job of teaching me about the processes of the business world. It has helped me understand why the culture, mission and vision are so important in a corporation.

What kinds of connections did you make with your professors and peers?

The good thing about the online program is that you have people from all over the world that you’re interacting with on a daily basis.  Some of these people are from different countries so I’m getting a different perspective on how companies run in different regions of the United States as well as in other countries.

Would you recommend Post’s Online MBA Degree Program to your friends/colleagues?

I would highly recommend it.  Thus far, the experience has been tremendous and it’s already enhanced my career.
