Teaching Background
Buban holds the position of Post University’s Academic Program Manager for Teaching and Learning. She teaches courses in the M.Ed. program including the program’s core courses and those in the Teaching and Learning, Online Teaching, and Higher Education Concentrations. Buban created the Online Teaching Concentration and continues to research and create programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Prior to Post University, Buban worked in the Provost’s Office at SUNY Empire State College for two years. Her six year career at Empire State College also included oversight of the online historical studies program and teaching Master’s level courses in Adult Learning and Bachelor’s level courses in human development and American history. Buban taught high school for six years prior to her work at Empire State College.

Buban resides locally with her husband and daughter. They enjoy playing both indoor and outdoor sports, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
