Teaching Background:
Dr. Kaiser holds the position of Academic Program Manager of Post Universityβs Instructional Design & Technology program. Her previous position at Post University was as an Instructional Coach in the Instructional Design Department. Her course specialties at the university level are Educational Technology, Instructional Design, and Instructional Technology. She has taught courses in computer literacy, educational technology, and instructional design since 2005 at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in both online and on ground environments.

Dr. Kaiser believes that education is an ever-evolving process that serves to improve society on a global scale with the assistance of technology through a social constructivist approach to teaching and learning. She adheres to a process where learning takes place through active and relevant problem-solving using real world examples and utilizing an inquiry-based format to stimulate deeper thought and reflection. It is important to Dr. Kaiser that learning take place in an interactive environment where students not only learn from the content and the instructor, but from their peers as well.
Personal Background:
Dr. Kaiser has extensive background in both instructional design and educational technology in both the private business sector and academia. She served as the lead instructional designer for a community bank and then moved onto serving as the LMS Administrator for the same company. After successfully achieving her Ph.D. in Instructional Design for Online Learning, Dr. Kaiser was appointed as Manager of Online Learning for a new community college in Idaho where she currently resides with her husband and six grown children. In her spare time, Dr. Kaiser enjoys outdoor activities such as boating and fishing with her family and actively practices photography and videography.
