BiographyAcademic Background:
Business Background:
Goldman has over twenty-five years of experience in research and development, marketing and sales, business management and consulting. He has held management and consulting positions in the US and abroad, serving medium and large enterprises within the life sciences/biotech, medical/analytic device, and IT industries.
Most recently, in IBM, Goldman worked with a large number of top executives addressing all industry verticals in the marketplace and supported the Managing Directors of IBM’s premier accounts. He served as in-house marketing strategy consultant to top executives in Marketing, Sales, Human Resources and Finance, impacting strategic decisions and business performance with insights and directions. He developed leads generation systems for account-level marketing programs, emerging growth initiatives and prioritized business segments.
Previously, Goldman directed the Customer Services operation for Packard Instrument, an $800M sales analytic instruments company with thousands of customers in 60 countries worldwide. He provided turnaround leadership of a “Profit and Loss” business unit, which produced 30-40% of the company’s total revenues.
In the less recent past, Goodman has held management positions in research and development as well as sales and marketing in Elscint/Elbit, selling large capital expense medical imaging devices and emerging technologies.
Presently, Goldman enjoys teaching MBA classes at Post University and pursuing market strategy consulting opportunities through his Insights to Growth LLC consulting company.
Personal Background:
Goldman lives in Trumbull Connecticut and enjoys his lake community. He served as a President, Board Member and Committee Chair in this non-profit lake association. Other volunteer activities have included coaching and mentoring of middle school children. In his free time, he likes to read, hike, bike, wood sculpt, play racquetball and sail.
