  • Associate of Science, Business Administration, Marketing – Mattatuck Community College (Honors in Marketing)

Teaching Background:

Ms. Goerig currently teaches undergraduate courses in Marketing at Post University. She has been teaching/training on a professional level for over 20 years.

Professional Background:

Anita brings over 25 years of practical marketing experience to Post University.  She is a creative developer of innovative strategies and successful integrated marketing communications programs that foster sustainable business growth in her career as Director of Marketing. Her expertise in educating clients of the capabilities and applications suitable for diverse project specifications has aided sales in securing national accounts. Anita mentors employees via training programs to strengthen internal and external communications. In addition, Anita manages outreach on a statewide level to foster environmental quality through education.

Teaching Philosophy:

Anita brings to the university topical marketing situations and solutions that inspire and challenge students in her class. She makes the material relevant and within reach to enhance the learning experience, and encourages personal commitment, creativity, and dedication from her students.

Anita’s hobbies include photography, hiking, bicycling and white water rafting.  Her volunteer work is extensive specifically in the field of conservation of natural resources.

Research/Academic Interests:

Anita’s research and academic interests include the study of social marketing and its impact on clients and future consumers. She believes that bridging the changing dynamics of consumer initiated marketing with commercial marketing approaches will ensure a sustainable future. She is considering doctorate studies to pursue her interests and further her academic career.
