Mr. Mollengarden has been a member of the faculty staff at Post University since 2010, teaching a variety of marketing and management courses to undergrad students. Additional, he teaches at Albertus Magnus College (Business Ethics, Marketing Management, and Management & Leadership), Housatonic Community College (Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing), Gateway Community College (Entrepreneurship, Consumer Behavior, Retailing), Lincoln College of New England (Public Speaking, Consumer Behavior, Advertising, Marketing Management).

Professional Background:

Mr. Mollengarden brings his experience as a successful entrepreneur (having founded successful businesses in three industry groups) and serving on the senior leadership/management teams of well-known and leading real estate and retailing firms to Post University. He operates a marketing consultancy and serves on the board of advisors for a variety of firms.

Teaching Philosophy:

Mr. Mollengarden believes one of the most valuable life skills that he can impart to his students is the ability to learn and adapt. "Learning does not stop by merely remembering new concepts-rather; success comes from understanding and synthesizing that understanding into practical knowledge".

His students benefit from his deep experience working with businesses at small, medium, and large organizations. Mr. Mollengarden has the ability to make this experience 'come alive' by relating both current and established business principles/concepts into the classroom. His students learn beyond the pages of textbooks by blending case studies and real-life examples of business success (and failures).

"It is important that we empower our students with a wide-range of skills... above all, the power of reinvention". Mr. Mollengarden believes that reinvention is not limited to companies and their products... "people, too, can reinvent themselves and transform their careers and their lives."

His students learn the importance of leveraging a sustainable competitive advantage, and he is committed to impart an understanding of the benefits of continuous learning and adapting. This is the foundation that he had built his teaching career upon.
