Biography



Academic Background:


BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Northeastern University

Teaching Background:


James holds the position of a Post University instructor in the Computer Information Sciences Department. His course specialties are Introduction to Computers, VB.net Programming and SQL Server Database Design.

Professional Background:


Lead Programmer for a company that provides the Tax Collector and Assessor software for municipalities in New England. Responsible for the design, programming and implementation of these software products.

Created software for Ct Marshals.

GIS integration of above products.

All products developed in Microsoft's latest development tools.


Teaching Philosophy:


James has extensive real world experience and strives to pass this knowledge to the student. He teaches with a practical understanding of what the student will need to be successful in their careers his goal.

Personal Background:


James is currently single and lives in Connecticut. A large family keeps him in the state. James is also a die-hard Red Sox fan.

Research/Academic Interests:


James' desire is to stay on top of Microsoft's latest technologies and trends. The software industry is changing so fast that he believes it is imperative to teach students the latest tools, technologies and trends.
