Teaching Background:
Dr. Edwards has been teaching at the college level for over six years, and currently teaches undergraduate courses in Entrepreneurship, Principles of Management, and Small Business Management at Post University. He previously taught at Murdoch University’s International Study Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Effective Leadership, Acquisition of Human Resources, Strategic Decision Making, Organizational Behavior, International Business, Next Life, Organizational Theory, and Strategic Management), Sharjah Women’s College Higher Colleges of Technology in UAE (Critical Thinking, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Planning & Development, Introduction to Management, Leadership); American InterContinental University in Houston, Texas (Global Strategic Management, Operations Management, Organizational Behavior, Decision-Making, Business & Society, International Business, Entrepreneurship, University Success); Anaheim University in Tokyo, Japan (Innovation & Entrepreneurialism), and; Strayer University in Atlanta, Georgia (Organizational Behavior, and Introduction to Business).
Professional Background:
Dr. Edwards brings 14 years of practical experience to Post University. He has held professional and lecture positions in the United States of America, United Arab Emirates and Japan. Dr. Edwards understands the importance of creating learning systems that enable students from different cultures, subcultures, ethnicities and nationalities to actively engage in forum discussions through applied learning and academic discourse exploration.
Teaching Philosophy:
Dr. Edwards possesses a passion for higher educational learning to integrate practical applications of new knowledge development, synthesis, transition, and scientific research scholarship through diverse delivery learning models. Â Â He is an adamant believer in creating learning systems that address the many different learning styles and needs of the students. Â
The models of learning that he promotes are structured through creating a collaborative learning environment to help learners manage information and technology in a constantly changing global business society. Dr. Edwards passionately believes the environment that best promotes learning is one that requires personal commitment, creativity and dedication.  He holds true to these principles in his quest to make the difference in the lives of his students.
Dr. Edwards avails his time and service to the student populace at Post University, providing academic mentorship and social support as each student fervently embarks upon scholarship while navigating through the academic journey in pursuit of excellence.

Research/Academic Interests:
Dr. Edwards studies the impact of cognitive, affective, and communicative processes in organizational change, knowledge and learning and their mediation by organizational design choices enhance learning processes. He is currently exploring these issues in arenas such as knowledge development in research and development efforts in fundamental organizational transitions are imperative. A special interest is in the role of Organization, Management, and Leadership in facilitating/inhibiting knowledge creation and learning processes in organizations.Â
