How to setup Office 2003 for Student University E-mail
Step 1
Open Control Panel through the Start Menu

Step 2
Make sure the control panel is in classic view. If your control panel is in the category view click Switch to Classic View.


Step 3
Double Click Mail

Step 4
Click E-mail Accounts

Step 5
Click IMAP then click Next

Step 6
Fill in your account information below
| Your Name: | your name |
| E-Mail Address: | your e-mail address |
| Incoming mail server: | mail.post.edu |
| Outgoing mail server (SMTP): | mail.post.edu |
| User Name: | your username |
| Password: | your password |
Make sure login using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) is checked. |

Step 7
Click More Settings ->Outgoing Server tab
Make sure the options match those shown below then click ok

Click Next

Step 9
Click Finish

Deleting Messages
To Delete
Click the message and click delete to set messages to delete. A line will cross out the message indicating that the message is ready to be deleted

To Cancel Delete
Right click the message and click
Undelete

To Clear Messages Out
Click Edit->Purge Deleted Messages
